Good News for Seattle & Washington's Motorcross Community

Granite Falls council has announced that they will allow motocross tracks near Granite Falls if organizers get permits and follow noise rules. Gary Strode, former MX GP Monroe owner, will be one of the first, since he is fresh off a $200,000.00 battle against residents near a rock mine out in Maltby. They fought to have the track banned and succeeded, which is hilarious because there is nothing in Maltby and when development time arrives for Maltby, which won't be stopped, it will be row housing, Wal Mart, and a Quizno's instead of a motorcross track and a buffer of trees. Welcome to the 21st century Maltby residents!

Support the MXGP Motocross Track in Maltby, Washington

The whole deal started with MXGP utilizing a piece of land that only MX riders really knew of - near a prison. In the end, they were kicked off, here is the article with the overview:

This guy does not want a track out in Maltby, please explain in nice ways why the Motorcross community is a valuable asset to Maltby, not a liability: http://nomotorcrossinmaltby.blogspot.com

Good News: Snohomish beefs up the option to at least have ORV parks.
