Well, at least they were able to pull off the final game of an atroshish home stand. Maybe Ibanez's HR will be the shot heard round the Puget Sound and will spark a fire under this teams assess. Who knows, but as of now, this team is just going through the motions, listless, backbone less, etc. etc. etc. Washburn seems to be having some issues with Kenji's lack of english, which is interesting now that Clement and Burke are up.
Bedard goes tonight and let's hope he can start us off on the road trip with a WIN. Sexson's riding the pine, which will be interesting to see how we do with him out of the lineup. Personally, I think the guy is a $15M a year cancer, so maybe the team will thrive with him being out.
The road less traveled is the road this team needs to head down....like winning 6 or 8 games in a row or something along those lines.
