This should be a fairly easy victory tonight, but this is the NFL, and nothing comes easy. The last time I said we should have a "fairly easy game", we end up losing to an 0-4 New Orleans.
Keys to the game tonight:
1. Come out guns a blarring tonight!!! We came out flat against New Orleans and before you knew it, we were down 17-0. Morris, get him some touches early and let Matt lead the way.
2. Defensive pressure: Can John Marshall call some effective blitzes tonight? He seems to do better at home than on the road with our sack totals. A LOT of that has to do with the 12th man, so let those tool Niners HEAR YOU! Smith is a great QB given tons of time, so keep on him with well executed, well disguised blitzes Marshall.
3. Special Teams: This goes along with key #1, but it's critial to not make any mistakes on ST tonight. It's going to be ugly weather wise, so let's hope our long snapper has his stuff together.
Keep things steady and don't make turnovers tonight and we should come out on top 24-10.
We need to get some momentum back and this is a good game to do it
