Time for change in Hawkville

  Posted:

What an absolute pathetic game tonight against an 0-4 team. John Marshall need to be placed back in charge of the LB's and promote Mora as the defensive cordinator. It's time for the Seattle front office to stop being nice, and start building a championship team. John Marshall, who was under Ray Rhodes (whose defense I could not stand either), was promoted due to Rhodes health. Excuse me, but if you spend $60M on a new defense Mr. Allen, why do you have a 1968 Oldsmobile running your defense? His play calling fools nobody: I counted 10 consecutive plays tonight in which we ran 4 defensive lineman....Brees had ALL day back there. Bottom line, he CANNOT disguise blitzes, which good NFL teams are doing these days. Rhodes defense may have been good in 1993, but it is outdated, and so is Marshall. Get him OUT OF THERE!!!!

Shaun, thanks for the 7 previous years, you were great. Hey, Seahawks, guess what? NFL running backs fizzle out around 30....everybody and their mom knows that. Shaun, time for you to do the Fred Taylor and share your carries with Maurice Morris. Time for Seattle to make a Clinton Portis type trade in the offseason and pick up a good 2-3 year running back. Shaun is done, done, done. Great times Alexander, but this is a business, your time is done.

Hasselbeck? I think he actually played pretty well tonight. His INT was a joke, but he also got sacked 5 times and was under heavy pressure on that throw as well. Holmgren's play calling is waaaaay too predictable as well. Yes, we didn't have Deon tonight, but some of his play calling was questionable. Why they heck were we NOT in a hurry up offense in the beginning of the fourth quarter? It's like we gave up!!!! How about Hasselbeck's audible to a draw on fourth and 3? Really dumb. I'm starting to think the game is passing Holmgren by as we speak....or, it's just the fact that Shaun is not running hard, therefore, Holmgren has to rely on pass, pass, pass. Hey Mike, FYI, not a good decision to rid of our long snapper from the previous week, eh? The guy did nothing wrong in the Pittsburgh game, why change? Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Bottom line, we are in a bad division, so there is time. However, Marshall needs to go, NOW. The one bright spot tonight? Weaver is a great replacement for Strong. Love Mack, but his time had come.
