Seattle Seahawks Blog
We got our asses handed to us yesterday, no doubt about it. Maybe this team needed a wake up call, but the glaringly obvious to us Seattle fans rang true again yesterday:
1. Shaun Alexander is not running hard: He is trying to save himself to run for the next several years....not going to happen Shaun, you've got 1 or 2 years left on those knees. Better start running harder if you think you're going to lead Seattle to the Superbowl.
2. Marshall and Holmgren need a wake up call: I still think Mora would do a better job of leading this team defensively. Remember folks, Marshall was promoted from the LB coach since Ray was having medical problems. At least Mora has head coaching level experience. Holmgren needs to get back to the basics of the West Coast offense: Screen passes and stronger use of the Tight End. If Pollard can't answer the call, start Heller
3. Hasselbeck has got to prove himself on the road in big games: He can look like an all-star against a soft SF Niner team, but put him against a tough D like New England or Pittsburgh and he looks confused and stressed out. Start reading some book Matt on how to handle pressure situations....like Jordan's books.
Up next? A team we should easily handle at home, New Orleans. I see no reason we shouldn't be back on track at 4-2.
