Seahawks pull off miracle finish

Seattle Seahawks Blog:

Well, it wasn't pretty and we have been on the losing end of plenty of those types of games (i.e. Vinny Testeverde Jets goaline game in 1998)....but as they say, a win is a win, especially in the playoffs. Dallas played just about as bad as a team could play and left the door open for Seattle to win. T.O.? 2 dropped passes on 3rd downs...ouch. Fumble on the goaline? Lucky, but what a play by Jennings. He may be small, but he covered well enough throughout the night and the forced fumble paved the way for Stevens TD.

Speaking of Stevens, with Jackson and Hackett out, he played like a stud. 2 HUGE TD's in this game and no dropped passes. He and Jennings get our game balls for the win....along with Romo :).

It's early in the week, but never too early to start talking about keys to the game for the Chicago game.

Here's our keys to the game vs. Chicago:

1. Get up early and hold on. If Seattle can get a 14-0 quick lead and just stay consistent, they can win.

2. Hasselbeck consistent. No INT's for Pete's sake! He cannot expect to throw those type of INT's in the Dallas game and win in Chicago...no way, no how

3. Mo Morris....more like MORE Morris. Shaun Alexander is not running with much mojo right now and is getting consistantly stopped at the line. Get Morris 5-7 carries just to mix things up a bit

4. Trickery beats better teams. I think we all know that the Hawks were a better team than Pittsburgh last year, but that ONE trick play ended up winning the game for Pittsburgh. Please, oh please, Holmgrem, call a frickin' trick play at some point. It will keep Chicago's defense on their heels. Besides, being the underdogs, what the heck do we have to lose?

5. Consistent Defense: Great job by our DB's last game in the "bend but don't break" philosophy. Keep Grossman under pressure and we win. Chicago has no one on offense that really scares us
