Considering how terrible the rest of the Seattle sports scene is these days, we like to look ahead here at Seattle Sports Blog.
2008 will HAVE to be the year that Seattle Seahawks put together a championship run.
Here are our reasons.
#1: Hasselbeck, Jackson, and Alexander are in their prime year and 1 or 2 of these guys will be on the decline after next year (especially Alexander)
#2: Our defense should be much improved next year with Mora helping out Marshall. We're hoping that Mora takes over the position of defensive coordinator to be honest with you.
#3: The Superbowl is FINALLY on the west coast in Phoenix......we could do what the Steelers did to us and have 80% of the fans there rooting for Seattle. We would also be familiar playing on that field.
#4: Holmgren is closing in on retirement...don't know how much he has in the tank
#5: It's our DAMN time to win a championship for the city......bottom line
