Granite Falls council has announced that they will allow motocross tracks near Granite Falls if organizers get permits and follow noise rules. Gary Strode, former MX GP Monroe owner, will be one of the first, since he is fresh off a $200,000.00 battle against residents near a rock mine out in Maltby. They fought to have the track banned and succeeded, which is hilarious because there is nothing in Maltby and when development time arrives for Maltby, which won't be stopped, it will be row housing, Wal Mart, and a Quizno's instead of a motorcross track and a buffer of trees. Welcome to the 21st century Maltby residents!

I am all for the motocross in Granite Falls. We need the revenue here. Also. the undevelopment in the Verlot area leads to too much crime.
Let's get the track. The kids can't wait :)
