Taking 3 out of 4 from Kansas City should hopefully boost this team's ego for now. They have a tough series coming up against Minnesota, who has been giving Seattle a tough time this year (Seattle is 1-4 currently vs. Minn this year). If they can split (or even better go 3-1) w/ this series, the M's will be in good shape to head on the road to face the Angels and the A's. Seattle is, get this, 0-6 vs. the A's this year!!! A bit more respectable vs. LAA at 4-3, but as mentioned, this is a big turning point for this team. They are only 5 games out right now and cut into that margin w/ good, solid baseball these next couple of weeks. Beltre has been coming around and Lopez seems to be doing well as the #3. Sexson? Still a big mystery w/ that Dave Valle batting average.
