Mariners trades

Wonder why the Mariners are struggling these days?

Let's take a look at the brilliant moves by Howard "I should not be the CEO of the Mariners", Chuckie Armstrong, and Bill "Bozo" Basavi:

Trade: Reed, Olivo, and Mike Morse for Freddy Garcia. Reed is still w/ the team and doing a so-so job in CF....still, you would like better HR and average #'s from your outfielder. Morse and Olivo? Morse is out of the league, Olivo is tearing it up for the Marlins, hitting .300 w/ 3 HR's. Garcia? All he did was pitch a shutout in the World Series last year, go 14-8 w/ a 3.87 ERA, and is already 3-1 in 2006. Status? Brilliant move M's!

Trade: Randy Winn for Torrealba and Foppert. Winn hit .359 last year w/ the Giants and it already hitting over .300 for them this year. Torrealba? No longer w/ the M's, and even when we had him, he hit .240 w/ 2 HR's. Foppert? Can't seem to find his information anywhere.....tumble weeds. Status? Brilliant moves M's!

Free Agents: Beltre, Washburn, Sexson: Sexson is the only bright spot on this list, but is hitting .260 w/ 40 HR's and 160+ strikeouts what we need? I'd take a .300 hitter w/ 30 HR's and 130 RBI's any day.....we should have gone after Guerrero harder. Belte and Washburn? How's a .111 batting average for Beltre and a 1-3 mark for Washburn sound? Status? Brilliant moves M's!

Time for Nintendo to fire Lincoln, Basavi, and Chuckie...NOW!
