Anyone all that excited about this team this year? I'm not, that's for sure. Pickups like Jurassic Carl, Lawton, and Washburn are nice, but what this team really needed was some STRONG starting pitching and better middle relief. These were NOT addressed in the offseason. Can the Mariners please dump dumb ass Chuck Armstrong and Bill Basavi? Hey Basavi, still think that Randy Winn trade was a smart one? Please, someone get Chuck Armstrong out of power in Seattle.....in case you didn't know it, he has more power in the M's organization than the common public knows.....get his ass out of there!
The 2006 Mariners and for the foreseable future are going to be a sub .500 team unless some changes are made. Bring in top management like the Hawks did...and you start winning. What a novel concept, except for the fact that the M's are too cheap to make any real moves. Go Nintendo!
