Let's take a moment and come to the realization that the NCAA will NEVER allow a mid-major to advance to the final four. Every year we (myself included) cheer for these little teams to beat the big bad Texas, UCLA's of the world. After watching last night's deplorable officiating blunders against Gonzaga, I'm thoroughly convinced that the NCAA does not want mid-majors in the final four. That call against Batista w/ .17 second's left was a joke, and he also clearly got fouled on that stripped ball.
Seattle Times quoting JP Batista: ""I thought he [Bozeman] fouled me," Batista said. Few seemed to concur, saying, "The steal at the end, or whatever it was, was a big play."
Let's take an honest, hard look at the facts folks. The NCAA only wants larger schools in the final four....why??? REVENUE!
Here are some figures from Newsweek on the Revenue generated during the tournament.
$11 billion is paid to the NCAA in television rights revenue. Tens of millions more is generated in ticket and merchandise sales. Additionally, an estimated $4 billion is distributed amongst the top schools across the country
Just laying out the facts for you people.

Makes me not want to watch March maddness. Gonzaga bitch slapped UCLA the whole game, and the ref's just handed it to the bigger school, there is NO DOUBT. UCLA was fouling all over the place in the second half, and they still couldn't stop Morrison.
