This team continues to baffle us all w/ winning in AZ one week and then losing in the first round of the Pac 10 Tournament to a joke of a team, Oregon. The second half of that game for UW was absolutely pathetic: a soft zone offense that everyone except Roy seemed flat-footed, terrible ball-handling (even Roy had 5 turnover's), and simply put, the Ducks could not miss 3's (50%+ in the second half). UW has no point guard and it hurt them last night. Dentmon needs to drive to the bucket in those instances and try and create....but instead Romar put the team in the soft zone offense.
Up next? Probably a #6-#7 seed for this team. Which team shows up? The team that beat AZ, UCLA twice, Gonzaga....or the team that lost twice to WSU and to the lowly Ducks.
