Att: Paul Tagliabue

New York, NY 10017

Paul,

That was one of the most lopsided referring jobs I have ever seen in my entire life. I know there are ex-NFL guys in the WWF, so are you now recruiting their officials? Bill Leavy and that entire crew should be fired, unless of course you and the NFL had some say in the final outcome. The entire Nation knows that game was fixed for "questionable" calls to go Pittsburgh's way. It's impossible to rig an NFL game, but hell, you certainly can tell the refs to make sure Pittsburgh wins.

There are a number of disturbing calls from that game that makes me believe you or someone in the NFL organization pretty much guaranteed the Rooney's to win that game. The TD by there quarterback was a perfect example. The rules state that is must be "indisputable" evidence that would overturn the call on the field. Didn't the line judge's questioning himself by raising one arm to spot the ball, and then a second after nearly 5 seconds give the replay officials an idea that it should have been overturned?

You just pissed off the 6th richest man in the world, who could own this league and own you especially. You preach parity in this great league, none of which was shown this weekend. You think a team from New York would have been given that treatment? You would have had to move the NFL offices if that was the case. 70% of the nation agreed on ESPN that your officiating crew blew that game for Seattle.

I hope you are glad that you were able to get the Rooney's another NFL title. Art Rooney made his fortunes by gambling and it appears still today that the NFL is tied in with gambling. I hope you made the odds makers in Vegas happy.

Seattle won that Superbowl in the minds of 70% of the country. The other 30% is the state of Pennsylvania and your mafia you call the NFL.
