I think you are pretty much right. Weiss, although a nice enough guy, just doesn't have what it takes to be a head coach. But let's face the facts. The Sonics' real problem goes much deeper than that.
I have thought for many years that what is really wrong with the Sonics is Wally Walker. He is the reason we lost George Karl. That really hacked me off. I think he's the reason we lost Mr. Sonic, Nate McMillan. He's the real loser. Wally says that he can't afford to spend lots of money because he's running a business. When are these "businessmen" going to learn that it takes money to make money? Loser.
