Another big, big win. As ESPN's Tom Jackson noted on NFL Primetime, Seattle needed a game like this where they were down and needed to come back. Impressive outing by Mr. Hasselback, who I had serious doubts about this year. 3 TD's and no Int's or fumbles...he gets the game ball despite S. Alexander's strong performance. Too bad Chicago didn't lose....Seahawks fan, be prepared, that is a good, good football team. All we need to do is win 1 of the next 2 games to seel home field, and judging by how Atlanta played there, we DO NOT WANT TO GO TO CHICAGO.
I was impressed w/ T.Titans ability to keep our defenders away from Mr. McNair, who almost single handedly beat our team. Again, it did not look like we were blitzing much, and it hurt us in the early going. Even though we gave up a lot of points and yards, I give the Defense kudos for some key 4th down stops as well as making adjustments to pattern covers. Still, a bit more pressure on McNair in the early going and I think we're up 28-0 at half.
Up next? Indy, coming off a loss. This game gets more intriguing by the minute. Seattle still needs one win to get home field while Indy still really has nothing to play for. However, I still expect Indy to come out firing because they do not want to go into the playoffs 2-3 the last 3 weeks of the season. Key to that game is keeping pressure on Manning....did anyone else notice how much pressure SD's front four provided on Manning? I'm looking for our front four to do the same. Anyone seen Grant Winstrom? We could use a big game from him.
