Yeah, right Madden!
Everyone knows that it is rare for any defense to pick up fumbles and snag interceptions - and run almost all of them into the endzone for TD's........but either way the Seahawks won the game: 42-0. Yes, that is a 0, the Eagles did not muster up one point and for all of this we get, "I don't know if the Seahawks are good or if the Eagles are really bad." from Madden and crew." Geeeez.
No one is asking for a "Yes, folks, these are the future Super Bowl champs." but come on Hasselback's throw back to the left while running out of bounds on the first series of the game was solid and if he had needed to show any further "talent" to prove that the Seahawks can play, I believe he/they would have. The fact is though, there wasn't a need, the defense took care of the Eagles and the Eagles helped take care of themselves.
The funny thing is that in this game, specifically, the Eagles may have nuked their own ship, but the Hawks are 10 and 2 and all I have to ask is, how does a team win 10 games by being lucky? I don't get it (Madden).
In short, the Seahawks will beat the Panthers and as long as we keep getting no respect from the east coast and "associated TV sports staff" then that's just fine with Seattle fans.
