Great game, and if you can believe it, Seattle is 7-2 w/ another big win over St.Louis. They are now challenging Carolina for get this.....Home field advantage throughout the playoffs w/ the Atlanta loss. Shawn Alexander should be the MVP of this league this year, no questions asked. Everytime he scores a TD in Seattle, the crowd should chant MVP, MVP. This now marks 129 days from training camp, and I'm going to start keeping track w/ a "ticker" of how long it takes Seattle to sign this guy. I'll call it the " Seahawks idiot ticker"...WHY IS SEATTLE NOT stepping up to the plate and signing this guy? Oh, yeah, he just set a record for 5 consecutive years w/ 15+ TD's....move over Largent, Krieg...Alexander is the BEST thing that has ever happened to this organization....so fricking pay the guy.
As far as the game is concerned, Alexander pretty much won the game. Hasselbeck was spotty w/ 2 INT's and I'm still a bit wary of him in a big game (i.e. Philly on Monday night). He does just enough to win, which is good. Heck, T. Dilfer won w/ the Ravens with that type of style. Also, I'd like to nominate Lofo Tupatupu as ROOKIE OF THE YEAR. He has stepped up and made many forget about C.Brown. 9 Tackles and a sack....he is legit.
Off to SF to play a team that had a Quarterback (an ex-Husky!), go 1-13 in a football game...1-13! Now, it was windy in Chicago, but come on!
