I'm a stat guy, so I'm doing some digging on the Hawks 26th ranked defense. Here's the troubling stat w/ this team: turnover ratio. The ONLY reason Seattle has a 9-2 record is a strong offense and a strong pash rush (when they blitz)
Take a look at this link: http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/DEF-TURNOVERS/2005/regular?&_3:col_1=9
Seattle is an anomaly comparing them against the top teams in the league...except for Chicago, who has at least has an excuse w/ an anemic offense. Look at the top teams: Cin +20 ratio, Denver +14, Jax +14, NYG +10, Pitt +9, Carolina +8 and Indy +8. Seattle? +1. This team really needs to start blitzing, playing more man, and get out of that damn zone defense on short yardarge...especially in the endzone!
