An ugly, but effective game vs. SF this weekend. A win is a win, no matter how you look at it in the NFL. 8-2 puts us in a prime spot for home field advantange. I'm still not 100% sold on this defense, though. They always say defense wins championships, and right now, w a +1 turnover ratio, this is not exactly an intimidating D. They followed 2 of my 3 keys to the game, however, they did NOT blitz enough.
HUGE TEST THIS WEEKEND. This game against NYG this weekend is the game of the year for Seattle. If they beat NYG, they stand 9-2, w/ NYG @ 7-4 and still owning a win over Dallas if they finish w/ equal records. You know as well as I do that if Seattle loses this game this weekend, they have the same record as NYG w/ NYG taking home field away from Seattle w/ a win here (if they finish w/ similar records). Let's hope the crowd is pumped up for this game and realizes the magnitude of home field advantage. Seattle does not want to play an NFC championship game in NYC....see Seattle's record in NY...not pretty. See Minnesota's record in NFC championship games in NY....-3, w/ a 41-0 drubbing that sent NYG to the Superbowl.
Tough week for picking games this week, I'm 7-6 going into tonight's MNF game.
