Well, this team could be 0-2 before we know it. Anyone watching the Monday night game will get a taste of what Seattle is going to face. A young, hungry team w/ a great coach and a QB that is impossible to defend. What the Hawks should look to do is contain Vick, since you really can't stop him.
Ideas from the visitors out there?
My thoughts are that on 2nd and 3rd down, they stay in the Nickle/Dime regardless of the yardage to the first and run a "box in one" vs. Vick. Yes, yes, it's basketball lingo, but it makes sense. It's like the old days when Seattle used to have Bosworth Shadow Elway: same concept, except you stick someone w/ actual defensive talent against the QB such as Sharper or even a Hamlin or Boulware that have more speed.
Offensively....well, it's pretty simple: Hasseljoke doesn't through 3 INT's and fumble. Run the ball as much as possible, get M. Morris 5-8 carries, give the ball to Mack Strong, run a reverse...whatever! Just get the ball and decision making out of the hands of Hasseljoke.
Anyone think Wallace starts by game #4?
