Regardless of last night's outcome, it was a great game and a great series. Give San Antonio credit, especially Tim Duncan. As much as I hate Manu, Duncan is the real deal, and he plays the game the way it's supposed to be played. Manu should try and become an actor when he retires from basketball. These last two games, you could really see the 3's missing from Lewis and Vlad. The outcome may have been the same, but I would have seen Seattle winning last night w/ them.
So, the BIG QUESTION IS THIS: What do the Sonics do in the offseason? OK, I'm tired of hearing all this about Ray Allen. If Schultz has any idea of what basketball is, he should know that Allen is a top 5 player in the league w/ at least another 4-5 years left in him. Also, keep Ridnonur, Collison, James, Daniels, Vlad, Evans as the nucleus. What? No R. Lewis? I think he's prime trade bait for a top 1st round pick. Notwithstanding his injury, he showed in the playoffs he's soft. Also, I'm tired of the Fortson antics....let em go. Sign a top free agent. Also, Luke, work on your shot this offseason....he's got the talent, just needs a more reliable shot. Until draft day 2005..........
P.S. Will Seattle's 7 foot redhead ever see playing time? I think that guy was a WASTE of a first round selection.
